I have been a holistic massage therapist for 35 years and a further education college lecturer for 20 years. I am passionate about menopausal hormonal health and I use a variety of holistic touch therapies to promote a confident, balanced and happy you! Using a combination of aromatherapy, specialised massage techniques, reflexology and nutrition advice to help support you, your body and your mind from perimenopause onwards.
I live by the sea and enjoy the gorgeous local walks along the coast. I enjoy trying to sail and paddle board and I practice yoga to support my body and mind. Good nutrition and cooking at home is important to me as the benefits of eating well and moving your body go a long way to improving your menopausal symptoms.
Therapies for Menopause
Studies have shown that aromatherapy helps to reduce hot flushes, temperature changes, low mood, irritability, anxiety, physical and mental exhaustion.
A recent study has shown improvements in sleep patterns and general quality of life following massage therapy, and massage is beneficial in helping to alleviate muscle and joint pain associated with the menopause.
